Design Challenges

Design a visual brand that appeals to parents and their children (aged 8-18)

Solution:
Research into the target age range of children showed a common style that catered to the brand age range. We created a wide range of assets that demonstrated the visuals in both the physical and digital space.

Validate and explain our understanding

Solution:
As a UX agency we grounded everything we did with user testing to confirm and steer our thinking; hosting research sessions with parents and their children. We would regularly update the stakeholders as it would also shape their company.

Our agency hadn’t done a branding project before, so we were in uncharted territory

Solution:
We hosted regular updates with our large team to allow us all to grow in our understanding together. At the end of the project we shared our experience with the rest of the agency.

Outcome

We helped to create a financial brand that is currently in use around the UK, helping children gain more adult freedoms and allowing parents to feel secure in the process.
